Requirements:
Key Areas of Responsibilities
-
Designs, modifies, develops, and implements software applications in the BISim product suite.
-
Engages with customers, as well as internal stakeholders, during the development process to ensure requirements are being met.

Collects customer requirements during the initial project phase, and translates the requirements to internal requirements.
-
Provides remote and on-site support for customers, including installation, debugging, development, and maintenance of products.
-
Works closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality is addressed at every step in the development pipeline.

Provides technical support and attends trade shows, exhibitions, and Industry Forums.

Supports Software Engineering Manager and Project Managers with other tasks as appropriate.
Process
-
Works closely with the Software Engineering Manager, and other team members to maintain technical consistency and quality of all projects.

Works closely with the customer, to ensure that integration efforts are of high-quality and successful and delivered on time.

Suggests technical direction for tasks, and provides input toward code design and architecture.
-
Provides estimates for engineering-related development.
-
Cooperates with other departments and teams during the development to ensure the final code is consistent with the original design.

Demonstrates proper and appropriate techniques in programming methods, documentation, testing, and review.

Follows proper methods for the adherence of code quality across the engineering team.

Identifies training requirements (both personal and team) and communicates any deficiencies to the Software Engineering Manager.
Knowledge and Background
-
Demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates a high level of proficiency of the C and C++ programming language.

Demonstrates advanced understanding of algorithms and data structures in designing software and completing designated tasks.
-
Uses advanced understanding of software design paradigms and best practices in day to day tasks.
-
Singapore citizen currently or recently holding, or otherwise able to meet requirements for, security clearance.
