The Netherlands Ministry of Defence awarded Bagira Systems its Joint Fire Training Exercise and System (JFTES) tender. The Royal Netherlands Army specifically selected the company’s Joint-Fire BattleSpace Simulator (JOBSS). This is the same system that’s been deployed by the Israeli Defence Forces since 2016.
As per the contract, Bagira will provide a variety of simulator configurations from individual education and training up to a Joint Fires Support Team tactical training, all using a high-resolution dome display and simulated equipment.
“We are very proud to have been selected by the Netherlands Ministry of Defence following a lengthy and highly professional evaluation process” commented Yaron Mizrachi, Bagira’s General Manager. “Our systems were developed and chosen based on vast operational experience and on excellent technology in which we have invested in order to fulfil the End Users’ needs. They include our unique user interface for planning, AAR features and additional capabilities to support Mission Readiness in an efficient way. Our road map will lead us to continue developing and integrating the best technology in order to improve our products for our current and future customers”.
Bagira is also contracted to sustain and support the simulators on-site over a period of at least 10 years.
